::A Lake of Bays Wedding: Courtney + Ryan in Muskoka::

Courtney and Ryan were married on June 4, 2011.  You may remember them and their fun rural wintery {engagement session} earlier this year.  They were married at the beautiful {Port Cunnington Lodge}, on Lake of Bays in Muskoka, Ontario.  They planned a beautiful and classic, traditional wedding with a big fun, family and love-filled reception.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Courtney’s sister Sam and her mom, while the girls were getting ready in the Osprey Chalet.  There was so much natural light, and the recent rainfall that morning made for a beautiful dramatic lush green background that is very, well Muskoka.  During the ceremony, there were so many heartfelt moments. I would describe them here, but I truly believe these photos speak to how moving it was for the families and their friends.

Several pretty little details were scattered throughout their day, including their signature drink, the Mosquito Mojito. But one of the best details, was that Ryan surprised Courtney with a beautiful 1950’s cedar strip boat for their wedding. We certainly took advantage of having it there for some beautifully inspired Muskoka Lakes photos for both the wedding party, and their formal bridal portraits.

Congratulations Courtney and Ryan! You both are incredibly kind, generous and giving people and I am honoured to have been part of your day.

Many wonderful thanks to {Cassie Jacklin} for all her incredible help.

A quick celebratory beverage with Courtney and her Muskoka bridesmaids.  They were so much fun to work with!

Courtney’s mom looked stunning.

And the Muskoka groomsmen had a celebratory beverage too.

Ryan’s cufflinks were in honour of their adorable golden retriever Scout.

Ryan had an emotional first look at his beautiful bride.  It was really hard for me to hold my camera steady during this time.

Courtney and Ryan wanted formal wedding photos.  Great looking group!

…and then they wanted FUN wedding party photos.  Look closely at Ryan’s sister Katie, snuck a funny shot at the couple when I asked them to kiss.

More beautiful moments captured throughout the day.

Beauty is an understatement here.

Their signature drink for guests, the Mosquito Mojito!

Wonderful family speeches about how the couple first met, and how they introduced each other to their parents.

…and last but not least, their awesomely beautiful first dance.

Congratulations again, wishing you both the very best!!
