Lisa and I met a few years ago at one of our cottage weekends in Muskoka. Immediately I was taken back how down to earth, friendly and fun she is. At the time, she was travelling from Toronto to Buffalo working on her Master’s degree and we often shared fun cross border shopping stories over several glasses, er… bottles of wine. My husband Paul and her fiance Andre have always had a great time together from their group trips to Montreal. Andre is such a nice guy, and I couldn’t be happier for their upcoming wedding in July.
Lisa’s bridal shower was held at the very pretty Islington Golf Club in Etobicoke. Approximately 50 of her closest friends and family travelled from across the country to wish her well. The theme was spring, with lots of pinks, light greens, purples and blues. When I arrived, I was so taken back of how beautiful the room was set up. And then, Lisa came around the corner to greet me. Bam! I was star struck. Just check out how amazing she looks!
The bridal shower was so much fun and relaxing too, even though I was photographing! I couldn’t stop laughing. We played some fun games, I met some of Lisa and Andre’s family and friends. And Andre’s mom even started playing some the piano for her guests. What a lovely touch!
Andre, you are one very lucky guy. Congratulations again to both of you!!
Guests were digging through their purses as part of the scavenger hunt. Too bad camera lenses, batteries, memory cards or a Shootsac weren’t on the list. I would have totally scored!
And lastly, all of a sudden…I spotted the party crasher! Andre surprised his bride-to-be with a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers! Andre, you’re so incredibly sweet
