Recently, I had the privilege to photograph Mariel’s bridal shower with 65 of her family and friends at Bistro Grande, a restaurant in Forest Hill. I was contacted by Danielle Perelman, a Toronto based photographer who was previously booked and I was happy to help. It’s really nice to have a good network of photographers to rely on.
Mariel is currently a resident at a hospital in downtown Toronto. With all the excruciating hours residency endures, I’m sure she enjoyed the much needed break and relaxation with family and friends. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by her Aunt Florence who introduced me to many of Mariel’s family, including her sweet Grandmother who travelled from Montreal to show her support for their bride-to-be. Before brunch began, Mariel’s aunts, her mom and her Grandmother offered their best wishes and thanked guests for attending the shower. With so many heart felt moments during the speeches, I think these photos express the emotion to how wonderful Mariel’s bridal shower was.
And a great atmosphere!
