Jennifer and Rui are just ridiculously adorable.  They’re one of those couples that are completely in sync with each other. When we first met over coffee in Liberty Village, Jennifer and Rui were so excited to tell me about their wedding plans thus far.  And then their engagement.  With the oh-my-goodness details and a proposal that resided in a countryside castle in Portugal. Incredibly romantic and real, I knew right away I had to photograph their wedding.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, we met for their engagement session – which was so much fun to shoot.  I love their style.  A gorgeous couple who will be married next May in Toronto.  We walked and talked about their planning thus far, and photographing throughout some beautiful areas along the Oakville waterfront.

For this session, I thought it needed something extra special. Details that would give it an extra pop and be swoon-worthy addition to our shoot. Many thanks to Lisa Collins of {Sweet Woodruff}, who provided Jennifer’s over-the-top stunning fall-inspired bouquets, perfect for our engagement shoot.  Wait until you see her ingredients for the bouquets.  Simply stunning! Lisa’s work has been featured in {Style Me Pretty}, and I can see why!

And her ring.  Wow!  Isn’t it incredibly beautiful? Jennifer helped design it.

Jennifer’s pink bouquet was filled with pink spray roses, ranunculus, pink and red anemones (my faaave), white veronica, celosia and seeded eucalyptus.

Her green bouquet was filled with white spray roses, scabiosa stellata, white veronica and Stars of Bethlehem.

Congratulations you two.  I’m so thrilled to be capturing your wedding next May!
