Steph + Tyler: An Engagement in Toronto

Brickworks in the spring, evening light, and a couple in love. Three of my favourite things!  It was a gorgeous evening when we met up at this little gem in the city.   I met Stephanie & Tyler, through previous couples at Courtney & Ryan’s beautiful Muskoka wedding last year.  I remember taking their photo and thinking “Wow, they make such a gorgeous couple”.  Honest!  I still love their photo to this day.  I’m really looking forward to their wedding this coming  fall, it’s at one of my favorite places, Steamwhistle Brewery. So excited for it, I can already tell it’s going to be a wonderful day, I just love these two!

Awesome couple, awesome session.  There is just something beautiful about the light this time of the year.  Swooooon!

What a fun evening with these two!  After each engagement session, I always make sure my couples go on a date after.  During our shoot, we just have a lot of fun and it’s just waaay too early to call it a night!  Besides, when you’re all dressed up – go out!    Hope you guys had a great evening!

How He Asked Feature: Jennifer and Rui

You’ll love this story, because of how real and beautiful it is.  Stacy of How He Asked featured Jennifer & Rui’s engagement session earlier today.  Stacy helped me time this submission perfectly for their upcoming nuptials.   Jennifer’s flowers were created by the lovely Lisa Collins of Sweet Woodruff in Toronto, who will be creating their floral designs for their day.

Oh how I am so excited for you both.  See you ::very:: soon!

Little Quinn and Family:: Portraits

Meet little Quinn!  He’s a sweet three month old and his parents Leah and Darcy wanted to continue their photo tradition, but this time at their east end Toronto home. We had a beautiful sunny spring morning recently in Toronto, and along with a babe, who slept fourteen hours the night before! His big sister Lola has grown so much since our last session at Kew Gardens.  This ime, she wanted to show me all her favourite toys, including telling me stories of her favourite princesses and how she likes to create her own magic potions!

Here are some of my favourites from our session.  These are the family portraits thats I love to shoot, and that my clients love to get.  They are so beautiful and real.  Leah and Darcy, it was wonderful to see you all again and meet baby Quinn.  He’s adoooorable!  Thank you so much for having me capture your growing and beautiful family!

Lola wanted to share her favourite book, with her baby brother.

And then she wanted in on this photo with him.  One of my favourites!

Little Quinn was aaalll smiles for us for our session.  And loved watching his big sister entertain us!
