Distill Gallery :: Toronto Small Business Photography

I wanted to time this post with The Distillery District {Christmas Market}.  If you haven’t been down to see it yet — go!  It runs until December 18, 2011 at the historic district in Toronto.

As part of my CRAVE Toronto {business series}, meet Allison Skinner, the owner of beautiful {Distill Gallery}, located in the Distillery District.   Her store is absolutely gorgeous, and carries many goods from talented designers across the country. Allison has so many unique gifts, that I’m certain will be enjoyed during the holidays.  One my favourites is that Allison carries Smitten Kitten cards, even their RIP line.  Send a celebrity message who has passed on.  How about a card from Patrick Swayze?    Giggles.

Here’s Allison’s beautiful store!  Drop by and say hello:)

Sheila - I recognize this store! Great little find in the District. I had no idea of the Canadian influences. Very cool.

Steeped and Infused in Lesliveille :: Business Photography

Earlier this fall, I had the opportunity to photograph several businesses for the upcoming 2nd edition {CRAVE Toronto} book, the urban girl’s guide to all things you crave. CRAVE Toronto connects urban girls to the best female entrepreneurs in Toronto. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be featuring the businesses I met, chatted and photographed.

Today, I’m featuring Jennifer Best from {Steeped and Infused}, located at 1258 Queen Street East, in Leslieville. Established in 2006, Steeped and Infused specailizes in loose-leaf teas that are carefully selected for quality, taste and most importantly their health benefits.  While shooting her store, Jennifer offered me a cup of Japanese Cherry.  It was beyond delicious — and so heavingly wonderful in fragrance and helped sooth my sore throat!

Jennifer’s store was such a treat to photograph. If you’re in the Leslieville area, go visit her store.  Looking for a great Christmas gift?  You can now shop {Steeped and Infused} online.
