There are so many great photographers out there who inspire me every day. Here is one particular children’s photographer whose work I can’t seem to enjoy enough. And chances are, you’ve seen her photos too. Audrey’s photography has been featured in Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Baby, InStyle Magazine and Better Homes and Gardens to name a few.
For those who don’t know her, Audrey Woulard is a famous natural light photographer in Chicago. On her website, you’ll see unbelievably beautiful photographs taken at either her 2,100 ft2 natural light studio or on location. When she’s not shooting, Audrey shares her knowledge at photography workshops across the US. And getting into one, is like trying to snag front row concert tickets. Even at WPPI recently in Las Vegas, she spoke to over 900 photographers about her work as a natural light child photographer. Here is a quick picture for a sunny Tuesday afternoon in Toronto. This photo of my son Benjamin is my little piece of Audrey Woulard heaven. And just like Audrey, I took it using only natural light.
And yes, there are eight teeth in there. With five creeping through right now. Yes, five. He wants to eat steak by his first birthday next month.
